Jamie Dornan has been hospitalised with symptoms of a heart attack while on holiday in Portugal. The actor’s condition was caused by contact with “toxic caterpillars”, his friend Gordon Smart said.
The friends decided to go on holiday to Portugal, however the next day Gordon felt strange signs of heart failure, being the son of a GP he immediately went to the nearest medical facility. After returning to the hotel, the Scottish presenter discovered that Jamie himself was also hooked up to medical equipment. The ’50 Shades of Grey’ star revealed: “Oh my God Gordon, about 20 minutes after you left, my left arm went numb, my left leg, my right leg, and I ended up in the back of an ambulance.” A little later, Gordon commented, “It turns out we ran into some hairy processional caterpillars and we were very lucky to get out of that story alive.”
