AI has begun to be used to assess the severity of diabetes in patients

Subsequently, scientists developed a separate technique called RSOM, which stands for raster scanning optoacoustic mesoscopy, allowing to obtain data at different skin depths. They used this technique to track the signs of diabetes in patients and created a list of 32 important changes in the skin, which were sorted and the severity of diabetes was calculated using AI.
